MACHINE OPERATOR JOBS DESCRIPTION

Operate machinery in assigned area under direct supervision, while adhering to established quality and productivity standards. Learn regulation and /or process controls under direct supervision. Operate receipt billing, embossing, image capture, check sorter, data match or equipment by making proper adjustments. Recover equipment and data accurately. Adjust machine and paper/cards for proper registration/embossing accuracy; start, operate, feed, regulate and adjust the machine while in operation. Inspect processed statements and/or cards to see if they are satisfactory. Learn to maintain machine logs in proper manner and report any equipment failure to supervisor.

Complete other responsibilities, as assigned. Adhere to established quality and productivity standards set by the business unit. Maintain cleanliness of work area and complete routine machine maintenance. Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Entry-level position
Detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced processing environment and adhere to deadlines

Schedule: Saturday 7:00AM-3:30PM, Sunday 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday 10:00AM-4:30PM, Tuesday 10:00AM-3:30PM

PART TIME ACCOUNTING CLERK JOBS DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

Supports accounting operations by scanning documents; running software programs; and assisting other accounting personnel as required.

Job Duties:

The Accounting Clerk will assist in all the following accounting department duties:

*A/R Collections- assist in making calls on past due accounts, ensuring that accounts are properly maintained and that company policy and applicable laws are observed. Must be able to effectively handle calls in a professional and customer service oriented manner.

*Credit application processing.

*A/R Billing and Credit memos

*Prepare daily deposits

*401k Administration

*Employee Benefits Administration

*Accounts Payable – Entering A/P invoices into accounting system, preparing A/P checks, interfacing with the bank using their online reconciliation program.

*Scanning/Filing and maintaining of A/R & A/P files

*Assist with other daily office duties as required.

Requirements:

Excellent attendance and punctuality, Team player with the ability to work with all levels, Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. 10 key by touch, typing, general math skills. Self starter who is highly organized and detail oriented. Able to prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely completion. Excellent use of English language including grammar, oral and written communications. Ability to protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

This is a Part-Time position requiring 4-6 hours a day Monday-Friday.
