<p>Specialty Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to work on our engineering team at our customer’s site, located 3 miles from our Toms River office. This position will in the ALRE Engineering Division and will be responsible for performing ship integration work related to the Advanced Arresting Gear system on international Aircraft Carriers</p>
<p><em>Successful candidates will:</em></p>
<p>·         Resolve technical and programmatic issues associated with integration of the AAG system on both forward-fit and back-fit aircraft carriers.</p>

Maintaining tracking and validity of U.S. Government Furnished<br />
Information Deliverables for both the forward-fit and back-fit MK15<br />
AAG configurations<br />
Participating in: (1) International management activities, (2) AAG<br />
technical reviews, (3) the development of the MK15 Installation Data<br />
Drawings for forward and back-fit configurations, (4) International Engineering review boards, and (5) validating recommended Engineering Changes with respect to ship impacts.<br />
Advising and updating Program Management on ship<br />
integration issues and status.<br />
Coordinating with and interacting with the UK MK15 program&#8217;s<br />
on-site ship integration liaison</p>
<p><em>Position Qualification Requirements:</em></p>
<p>·         BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering<br />
·         3-5 years experience of working engineering/mechanical experience or related fields.<br />
·         Experience with NAVSEA or shipboard mechanical systems is preferred, not required<br />
·         Must be proficient in Pro Engineer, AutoCAD, MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and MS Project.<br />
·         Military systems background is a preferred<br />
·         Good problem solving skills<br />
·         US Citizenship with ability to get Dod Security clearance is a must.</p>
